Morocco – Six Dead and 70 injured in Passenger Train Derailment Near Bouknadel (Video)

In Morocco, a passenger train derailed on Tuesday morning between Rabat and Kenitra. At least six people were killed and more than 70 others were injured, reported the public channel 2M TV.

The cause of this accident which occurred at Bouknadel town is unknown at this stage, officials said.

King Mohammed VI issued a statement of condolences to the victims’ families of this accident which suspended the rail traffic between the northern city of Tanger and Rabat.
