France – A ton of cannabis from Morocco seized in Loiret worth millions of euros

Hashish made-in-Morocco seized in France. A ton of cannabis was seized in le Loiret, a hundred kilometers south of Paris, said the French gendarmerie.

The drug was introduced in France by a network that operates not only in Spain but also in Morocco.

Two men aged 39 and 43 are believed to have led this network that has been able to deliver “at least 5 tons (resin) of cannabis” from Morocco since the beginning of the year, according to Le Figaro.

In total, seven suspects between the ages of 26 and 43 were arrested and imprisoned following the discovery of the drug in a barn. It is estimated that the drug represents a street value of 3 million euros.

During the raids, the gendarmes seized 10,000 euros in cash and 4 vehicles and jammers which were supposed to be a circumvention tool for drug traffickers, the same source asserted.
