King Mohammed VI names Lahcen Sekkouri Minister of Youth and Sports

According to the French Foreign Ministry, the foreign minister, Laurent Fabius visited Tangiers on Wednesday to take part in the 12th “5+5 Dialogue,” the foreign affairs conference between five Southern European countries and the five North African states. During the conference, which was devoted to the theme of the youth, Mr. Fabius announced France’s priorities to its partners, reported the spokesman for the French Foreign Ministry, Romain Nadal, during a press conference.

“At Tangiers, France will represent the northern countries in co-chairing the 5+5 Dialogue, along with Morocco who will represent those from North Africa,” he reported, noting that the diplomats will be working in particular on economic and security issues in the Western Mediterranean as well as the resolution of regional crises such as those caused by the refugee crisis.
