7th Art – Le Colisée, a gem of 4 premium cinemas to make Rabatis dream (Video)

Hats off! The capital of the kingdom must boast of the reopening of the mythical cinema “Le Colisée”. And for good reason, after being in hibernation for nearly a quarter of a century, Le Colisée has just been resurrected this Wednesday, July 18, 2018, like a phoenix rising from its ashes.

Pierre-François Bernet, who chairs the production company Chrysalis Films, has just completely renovated Rabat Le Colisée, to make it a multiplex of four premium cinemas. During a visit reserved for journalists, Bernet emphasised the high technology equipment of these cinemas including gigantic screens, projections of very high quality in 3D and a super-sophisticated Dolby 7.1 sound system.

“Impressive! it reminds me of the quality of the technology and the sound of Universal Studios shows,” commented a moviegoer after a screening of trailers, remembering a trip to Orlando, he had made a few years ago.

Property of the BALIMA Company, Rabat Le Colisée is located on the large Avenue Mohammed V, opposite the Parliament. The promoters of this ambitious cultural project did not skimp on the financial means as they invested without counting thousands of hours of reflection, research and work.

The date of the public opening has not yet been announced, but one thing is certain: Rabat has just been endowed with a cinematographic “coliseum” which will make the pride and joy of the Moroccan movie-goers and the tourists visiting Rabat.

“You may say I am a dreamer, but I’m not the only one. I hope someday you’ll join us and the World will be as one”, that is how John Lennon had addressed his fans in his immortal song “Imagine!”. And as if they were inspired by this beautiful poem, the promoters of this project have dedicated their hearts and souls out to invite the public to dream and travel at a price accessible to all.
