Ouahbi: PAM’s results upon the professional elections are quite satisfactory, yet the battle is far from over

PAM Secretary General, Abdellatif Ouahbi, stated the party achieved positive results upon the professional chambers’ elections, noting that PAM is most likely to obtain better results throughout the communal and parliamentary elections.

“I am quite happy with the results, provided the various structural and organizational issues our party endured prior to its fourth national assembly”, Ouahbi declared on the side-lines of PAM’s communicative meeting with several party militants in Fez-Meknes region, on August 07, 2021, claiming that the pandemic brought upon a series of challenges to the party in terms of the latter’s structuration process, however, PAM managed to carry out its partisan duties despite all existing obstacles.

“We managed to maintain our voting bloc intact, therefore, PAM obtained positive results throughout the professional elections”, Ouahbi stressed, pointing out that the party’s alliances in this regard shall be entrusted to PAM electees rather than general or regional secretariats for they are deemed familiar with the nature of problems inside the chambers’ corridors.

With regard to PAM’s electoral lists, Ouahbi revealed that the party shall announce the final lists for all of Tangier-Tetouan-Al Hoceima, Rabat-Salé-Kenitra and Casablanca-Settat regions, by Monday, while the lists for Fez-Meknes and Marrakech-Safi regions are to be announced on Wednesday”, stressing that the election committee has met with 130 female candidates in the prospect of announcing the party’s female candidacy lists within the next few days.
