As part of the dematerialization of Tanger Med’s service offering through the implementation of various solutions to strengthen the logistics competitiveness of exporters in its “Port Community System” portal, a new step has just been taken thanks to the partnership with Morocco Foodex for the facilitation of Moroccan exports for agri-food products.
In a statement, Tanger Med port authorities said : “This new solution will enable the dematerialized management of the export process for agri-food products, according to the requirements of Morocco Foodex, from packaging, storage and manufacturing stations all over the Kingdom.”

For example, an exporter of citrus fruit from the Agadir region will be able to apply for certification thanks to its access accounts, whether in the Morocco Foodex portal or in the “Tangier Med Port Community Sytem”, it said.
Thanks to the automated exchange with the control bodies and the border crossing points, in particular the BADR system of the Administration of the Customs and Indirect Taxes, the certificate of inspection can be automatically transmitted for the obtaining of the customs officer of boarding through Tangier Med port.
This solution confirms Tanger Med’s ongoing commitment to improving the logistics competitiveness of the Moroccan exporter, it added.
