Moroccan Airports: Over 16 Million Passengers in the First Eight Months of 2019

Morocco’s airports recorded a traffic of 16,686,247 passengers in the first eight months of 2019, up by 12.33% compared to the same period in 2018, the National Airports Office (ONDA) said in a press release. The Casablanca Mohammed V international airport welcomed in the same period 6,923,746 passengers against 6,547,221 passengers a year earlier, the source added.

It is followed by the Marrakech-Menara airport, which welcomed 4,163,074 passengers and Agadir Al Massira airport with 1,345,773 passengers. The Marrakech Menara airport continues its expansion since the launch of the new terminal in December 2016, with a 24.92% year-on-year increase.
