Minister of Foreign Affairs and International Cooperation, Nasser Bourita, on Sunday held talks with UN Deputy Secretary-General, Amina Mohamed. The UN official will take part in the 52nd Session of the Economic Commission for Africa’s (ECA) Conference of African Ministers of Finance, Planning and Economic Development, held in Marrakech on 25-26 March.
Amina Mohamed took part on Saturday in the 20th session of the Africa Regional Coordination Mechanism meeting and the third joint meeting of the Regional Coordination Mechanism for Africa and the Africa regional United Nations Sustainable Development Group. These talks took place in the presence of Ambassador Omar Hilale, Vice-President of the United Nations Economic and Social Council (ECOSOC), President of ECOSOC humanitarian segment and Morocco’s Permanent Representative to the United Nations.
