Gabonese President Leaves Morocco after Medical Stay
President of the Gabonese Republic, His Excellency Ali Bongo Ondimba, left Morocco on Saturday after a medical stay in the Kingdom, for rehabilitation and convalescence.
On his departure from Rabat-Salé airport, the Gabonese head of State was greeted by head of government, Saâd Dine El Otmani.
After reviewing a detachment of the Royal Armed Forces that made the honors, HE. Ali Bongo Ondimba was greeted by the wali of the Rabat-Salé-Kénitra region, governor of the Rabat prefecture, the president of the region’s Council, the governor of the Salé prefecture, the deputy Commander of the Rabat-Salé Arms Square and the president of the Salé municipal Council, as well as by other civil and military figures.
The Kingdom of Morocco and the Gabonese Republic have strong relations of friendship and solidarity, based on deep and historical bonds of fraternity between the two peoples and the two heads of State.
