Donald Trump Was A “very mediocre” Student, According To His Teacher Nabil Shaath
Nabil Shaath, a Fatah leader and Advisor to Palestinian President Mahmoud Abbas, described his former student, the US President Donald Trump, as a “very mediocre ” when he was his teacher in the United States
“In the third grade, I taught him Economics and financial management of large companies, but he had been failed in all these subjects and got less than 50% of the average needed, which pushed the university to expel him and his father to pay a large sum of money for him to return to university”, said Shaath who was speaking Friday in Rabat at an inaugural conference on the Humanities and Social Sciences.
He added that President Trump belongs to the “kind of leaders who came to power in a period of change in forces balance, but who refuses to take it into account and seeks at all costs to impose his hegemony”.
“There is two kind of leaders, those who are rational like Charles De Gaulle who abandoned the colonisation of Algeria and Winston Churchill who abandoned that of India when they felt that the forces balance was no more in their favour. The second kind seeks to impose his dominance and even if that means for them losing, as is the case of President Donald Trump”, the Palestinian official was as saying by Moroccan Hespress news website.
+ Donald Trump … “opportunist” and “adventurer” +
Nabil Shaath also described Trump as “opportunist and adventurer,” saying: “We must continue to reject his false plans and he will surely lose the presidential elections as he has lost those of Congress, and a Democratic party president will come to a time when the global balance of forces will change in the sense that China and Europe will become undeniable forces and the United States will lose control of the world “.
The Palestinian official said the United States would lose control of the world in the next three years.
“The shift in the balance of forces will transform, in the next three years, the world which will move from a US-dominated one to a multipolar world, including Europe, Russia, China, Brazil, and other international powers. And maybe that the Arabs will also be part of this powers if they unite”, he said.
Shaath also remains optimistic regarding the final victory of the Palestinian cause despite a difficult situation marked by the decline in support from states in the region and the division of Palestinian ranks.
“Revolution, revolution till Victory, expresses our strong faith in our ability to achieve liberation,” he said, adding that there is still a chance to achieve peace, “it’s just a question of time “.
Nabil Shaath also recalled that the Palestinians will not accept any solution that does not comply with international law including the “deal of the century” that Washington and some of its allies are preparing.
