MoU signed in Rabat to Acquire Covid-19 Vaccine

Health minister, Khalid ait Taleb, signed, on Friday in Rabat, a Memorandum of understanding (MoU) for the acquisition of Covid 19 vaccines produced by the “R-Pharm” group , under license from the “AstraZeneca” group.

The signing of the MoU, which took place through videoconference, is part of the Kingdom’s efforts to secure the country’s supply of sufficient quantities of vaccines.

Besides Mr Ait Taleb, Interior Minister, Abdelouafi Laftit, Minister of Foreign Affairs, African Cooperation and Moroccan Expatriates, Nasser Bourita, Minister of Economy, Finance and Administration Reform Mohamed Benchaâboun, minister delegate to the minister of the Interior, Noureddine Boutayeb, Director General of “R-Pharm”, Vasily Ignatiev, and the Vice-President of “AstraZeneca”, Alec Van Gelder, took part in the signing ceremony.
