Royal Air Maroc: Resumption of Domestic Flights Starting Next Thursday

Following the statement of the ministry of Tourism, Handicrafts, Air Transport and Social Economy authorizing the travel by air within the Kingdom, Morocco’s flag carrier Royal Air Maroc (RAM) announced, on Sunday, the resumption of its domestic flights as of Thursday, June 25, 2020.

Flights will be operated to the following destinations: Casablanca-Laayoune, Casablanca-Dakhla, Casablanca-Oujda and Casablanca-Agadir, RAM said in a statement.

The national airline will gradually increase the number of frequencies and domestic destinations, noted the same source, adding that the flight schedule will therefore gradually evolve to cover its entire domestic network.

It should be noted that the destinations of Tangier and Marrakech, placed in zone 2, are not concerned for the moment by this resumption of domestic flights, the statement pointed out, noting that in accordance with the recommendations of the public authorities, Royal Air Maroc will put in place health security measures to ensure the health and safety of its customers and staff.

The flights are available for sale on the national airline’s website, via its call centers as well as in its commercial agencies and on the travel agency network, the same source concluded.
