Allegations About Number of Military Personnel Affected by Covid-19 Are ‘Baseless’ (Military Source)

Allegations about the number of military personnel affected by Covid-19 within Royal Armed Forces Units are “baseless”, a military source said.

Some media websites circulate pernicious and slanderous information on the number of military personnel affected by Covid-19 and on the development of outbreaks of contamination within Royal Armed Forces Units, stressed the same source, reassuring that the health situation related to Covid-19 within the Royal Armed Forces is “under control” and the proportions of military personnel and their families affected by this pandemic are “completely normal” compared to the national average.

The same source also specified that the measures taken within all the Royal Armed Forces Units to mitigate this pandemic are most draconian and that a rigorous medical-social follow-up is practiced at several levels.
