King Mohammed VI granted his pardon to the journalist Hajar Raissouni

HM King Mohammed VI granted his pardon to Miss Hajar Raissouni, sentenced to prison and still subject to legal proceedings, says a statement by the Ministry of Justice.

This Royal pardon is part of the compassion and clemency recognized to the Sovereign and HM the King’s concern to preserve the future of the engaged couple who intended to found a family in accordance with religious precepts and the law, despite the mistake they allegedly made and which led to this legal action, according to the same source.

In the same context, HM the King granted his pardon to Hajar Raissouni’s fiancé and the medical team prosecuted in this case.
