Royal Navy Assists 329 Would-be Illegal Immigrants in the Mediterranean

Coastguards of the Royal Navy assisted on 10-13 October, 2019, 329 would-be illegal immigrants in the Mediterranean, said a military source. The immigrants, mostly Sub-Saharan nationals, were aboard small boats in the Mediterranean, the source added.

According to the same source, the immigrants, including 49 women and several children, were provided first aid by the Royal Navy units before being brought safe and sound to the ports of Tangier, Al Hoceima, Nador and Ksar Sghir.
