Royal Navy Assists over 270 Would-be Illegal Immigrants

Coastguards of the Royal Navy, operating in the Mediterranean, assisted in the weekend 271 would-be illegal immigrants, said a military source. The immigrants, mostly Sub-Saharan nationals, including women and children, were aboard small boats that were in trouble, the source added.

They were brought safe and sound to the nearest ports after receiving the necessary health care from the Royal Navy units.
