Malian Prime Minister, Soumyelou Boubeye Maïga, arrived on Thursday in Morocco for a friendship and working visit.
Upon his arrival at the Rabat-Salé airport, the Malian official was welcomed by Head of Government, Saad Eddine El Othmani.
After reviewing a detachment of the Royal Air Forces that paid the honors, the Malian PM was greeted notably by State minister for Human Rights, Mustapha Ramid, Minister of Economy and Finance, Mohammed Boussaid, Minister of Equipment, Transport, Logistics and Water, Abdelkader Amara, Minister of Employment and Professional Integration, Mohamed Yatim, and minister delegate to the minister of Foreign Affairs and International Cooperation, in charge of African Cooperation, Mohcine Jazouli.
During this two-day visit, Maïga and El Othmani will discuss the means to promote fruitful cooperation between the two countries as well as several issues, including security, the fight against terrorism, climate change and irregular migration.
On the occasion of this visit, several cooperation agreements will be signed between the two countries in various areas.
