Clean energy – Electric charging points will be installed on Morocco’s highways soon

Morocco’s highways are expected to be boosted soon by new electric charging points, as part of a project aimed at diversifying energy sources for vehicles.

A total of 22 electric charges with a capacity of 22 kW will be installed at different stations linking Tangier to Marrakech, allowing the owners of hybrid vehicles to have the electricity supply they need, Al Ahdat Al Maghribiya said.

MENA Schneider Electric President, Casper Heisberg, has pre-approved all validation points ahead of the plantation initiated by the French group, same source added.
