Justice – A Moroccan airplane captain sentenced to 10 years in prison for forgery

The criminal division within Casablanca’s Court of Appeal has sentenced a retired plane captain, last Tuesday, to 10 years in prison, for forging official documents, assisted by two Islamic Notaries.

The convicted claimed that his brother has accused him of rigging a management contract by proxy and that he has not been granted a hearing by the clerk; however, the retired captain was summoned by the magistrate thinking he was there for a testimony, to realize at the end that he was subject to detention.

It is noteworthy that the convicted used to serve as a plane captain for the late King, Hassan II.
