Finance – Boussaid chairs the Pension Fund’s Board fourth session

Morocco’s Minister of Economy and Finances, Mohamed Boussaid, chaired on January 9, 2018, the Moroccan Pension Fund’s Board of Trustees’ fourth session.

  • The Pension Fund Board meeting focused mainly on:

The general orientations of the draft contract between the State and the Moroccan Pension Fund for the 2018-2020 period, which is based on four main axes, namely: governance, clients, information and the management system, as well as that resources management;

  • The action plan and the Fund’s budget projects for the year 2018.

The meeting was attended by all members of the said Council, including state representatives, local authorities, members of civil and military pension schemes, in addition to pensioners.

On the light of this meeting, Boussaid expressed his appreciation for CMR’s accession to the unified national portal “CHIKAYA” which will allow citizens to submit and follow their claims process closely.

Boussaid has also stated that the Fund’s new policy encourages openness to new partnerships and cooperation agreements with national and international institutions, especially in Africa, in order to strengthen Morocco’s position in this continent in particular.
