Soccer – Real Madrid Press Conference

“Anything can happen in football” – Real Madrid coach, Zinedine Zidane, is taking nothing for granted as his Real Madrid side make final preparations for their FIFA Club World Cup semi-final against Al Jazira at the Zayed Sports City stadium on Wednesday evening.

“For us we know that there is no match that is easy. We have a semi-final against an opponent that everyone says is going to be easy. If we think so, we will be wrong. We don’t think it’s going to be easy, we think it’s going to be hard. Whenever you play against Real Madrid, everyone wants to do their best. Anything can happen in football. That’s why we are trying to do our best.”

Wednesday’s game is arguably the biggest in UAE club football history, with a sell-out crowd expected at Zayed Sports City stadium, Abu Dhabi for the 9pm kick-off, and an electric atmosphere certain to welcome both sides.

“I’m very happy with the city and with the welcome of the people”, continued Zindane, who’s team trained on both Monday and Tuesday in Abu Dhabi city.
