Morocco’s treasury debt repayments, made in January 2018, have amounted to 7.5 billion MAD.
The Ministry of Economy and Finances, however, revealed the following stats in relation to Morocco’s indebtedness:
The Treasury’s outstanding debt by the end of January 2018 amounted to 702.6 billion dirhams, against 692.1 billion dirhams in December 2017. Morocco’s internal debt increased by 10.174 billion within a month for it went from 539.264 billion in December to 549.438. External debt has known a slight increase of 337 million dirhams only, going from 152.830 billion to 153.167.
On the other hand, Morocco’s treasury debt repayments, made in January 2018, have amounted to 7.5 billion MAD, as the internal debt was estimated at 5.332 billion for an interest rate of 1.278 billion, which brings this latter to a total of 6.611 due to treasury. Moreover, the external debt subject to repayment, reached 848 million, at an interest rate of 223 million.
These recent stats shall bring the treasury’s debt service repayments to 7.459 million.
